Symptoms
Endometriosis and persistent pelvic pain
We believe in a holistic approach to pelvic pain, assessing the impact the pain is having and looking for all elements that may be contributing.
There are many approaches to address pelvic pain, which may include surgery to assess for and treat endometriosis.
Pain may be every day, related to periods, or related to particular activities such as sex or bowel movements. These kinds of pain are not normal and can almost always be treated, although treatment may be complex.
Abnormal bleeding
Bleeding that is impacting everyday life is not normal. Some bleeding is caused by serious conditions such as cancer, but most bleeding is caused by benign (not cancer) conditions.
Treatment may involve medications, procedures or surgery, and depends on your specific situation and preferences
